The Green Reaper is our specialty program designed to fight back against the worst grassy and grass-like weeds—the kind that laugh at normal treatments and refuse to die.
These weeds require stronger products, more precision, and a series of well-timed attacks. That’s where the Green Reaper comes in.

The Green Reaper targets tough grassy and grass-like weeds that don’t respond to regular lawn treatments. These include stubborn invaders like Johnsongrass, Dallisgrass, Goosegrass, Nutsedge, and more. Unlike broadleaf weeds, these types require specialized products and a multi-step treatment plan to even begin controlling them. Our standard lawn program isn’t designed to handle these weeds because they often grow from rhizomes, tubers, or deep root systems that laugh off typical weed control. That’s why the Green Reaper exists—to bring out the big guns when regular treatments just aren’t enough.

What to Expect (and What Not To)
The Green Reaper Program is a targeted, multi-step attack on tough grassy weeds that standard treatments can’t touch. You can expect gradual suppression, thinning, and in some cases, elimination—especially when timed right and combined with a strong lawn program. Results take time, consistency, and the right conditions, but most lawns see visible improvement after the first couple rounds.
What not to expect: overnight miracles, total eradication in a single treatment, or permanent control with no follow-up. These weeds are aggressive and stubborn—this program helps fight them back, not vanish them instantly. Our goal is fewer weeds, stronger turf, and a lawn that can start winning the battle on its own.
How It Works
The Green Reaper Program is available in either 3 or 5 treatments, spaced strategically throughout the growing season. These weeds are relentless, and one visit simply won’t cut it. Each treatment builds on the last, helping to weaken, suppress, and in some cases eliminate the problem areas over time. We space the applications for maximum effectiveness—hitting the weeds at key growth stages when they’re most vulnerable.
Because these invaders often leave bare or thin spots behind, fall seeding is almost always recommended to thicken up the turf and help crowd out future weed growth. Stronger grass means fewer open spots for weeds to return.
